Help! Joile is pulling out Jen's hair! My poor little Jen is under attack from Jolie! Jolie keeps pulling Jen's hair out! I don't know what to do to stop her. I correct her when I catch her in the act but there is more times that I don't see her doing it. Jen no longer has enough hair for a top knot and we are going to have to start over with her and get her in a puppy cut...:( Anyone ever been through the same problem? What did you do? I thought about putting bitter apple on Jen but I don't think that would be safe... HELP! |
Oh goodness why is she doing that..is there a bit of jealousy rearing it's ugly head there? Poor jolie. Try the bitter apple. I am praying that it works for you. Or maybe spray a bit of perfume on the tips of her hair. Nothing taste worse than a mouthful of perfume. The plus is that Jolie will smell really nice. |
Holly loves to yank on Gracie's top knot. Holly has bitten off a bit of Gracie's beard as well. I hate to use bitter apple on Gracie's beard as it gets stuck in her mouth. Holly does this in play when they are rough housing. I correct her when I catch her. I have no good answers. |

Ugh... That's when Jolie get's Jen - when they are playing and rough housing... What to do...? |
Shelby and Seymour used to tug on eachothers hair when they were younger..... maybe they will grow out of it?????? I think that they liked to try to get bows out of eachothers hair.... so maybe try omitting bows. Also you could try to braid the hair if it is long enough. |
Zoey and Chloe both pull each other's facial hair and bite ears. They haven't pulled any hair out (that I've noticed) but they worry me dragging each other by the ears. Good luck. |
OMG!!!! I didn't know they'll do that..... like two little kids hitting on each other...:D I'm sorry I don't know what to do.... |
Ugh, I haven't run in to that one. I tried googling it, and I only came up with a casual reference of some pups pulling on each other's hair. The author said to give them toys to play with at that point to distract them. Not sure it will work, but thought I'd pass it on. Good luck. You'd think this would be a fairly common problem. |
