My hairdresser said that Pantene is sooooooooooooo bad for your hair...she says if you want a good store bought shampoo then to go with herbal essence..its the best..

It is VERY bad for your hair so I wouldn't even think twice about using it on Lilly or any other dog.

Can I ask, what is buddy wash? and conditioner? Is that the name? Where do you get it? Is it for sensitive skin?:confused: sorry

When my sister was younger she had really long hair and my mom would use that on her hair.

I have also been told by my hairdresser to avoid pantene and also thermasilk she said that they are horrible for your hair. As far as mane and tail go i have used it myself about 5 years or so ago. The reason i used it is because my hair was so dry and breaking off everywhere and it would not grow. But after a few weeks of using it my hair started growing faster than ever and it looked so healthy :) I am seriously thinking of going back to it, my hair could use another face lift lol

hi! do you dilute the main n tail conditioner? or do you use full strenght?

I've never used Main N Tail on my furbaby, but I do use it for myself. A while ago, I ran out of my regular shampoo and used my sister's Herbal Essances that was already in the shower. That stuff gave me massive dandruff and I tried a bunch of products to get rid of it but it was still pretty bad. I recently started using Main N Tail and it's really helped with the dandruff. It's actuallly more effective than all the dandruff shampoos and treatments I've tried, and it's not even a dandruff shampoo :rolleyes:

I was wondering if anyone still uses the Mane & Tail shampoo & cond. on their furbutts?(since this was dated from a while back):)If so how is it going using it.

I use both, I don't think there's anything special about the shampoo but I love the conditioner. :thumbup:
