Hi Saskatchewan, I was born and raised in Saskatchewan, am quite familiar with most of the province. I was born in Pontiex and grew up in a village called Piapot, my dad had a general store there. I have relatives in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, Swift Current, Maple Creek,Yorkton and Smeaton. Small world isnt it. My parents retired to Medicine Hat Alberta when I was 17, I now live on Vancouver Island,in Union Bay BC. Caji is my second Yorkie, we had to have our other one (JC) put down in "August due to a genetic bone disease, he was 9 years old. We missed him so much we decided to get another Yorkie, so we got Caji in October. He is now 4 months old and is starting puupy classses next week. Once a yorkie lover always a yorkie lover.:aimeeyork Carole |

Hi I am from Thompson Manitoba and have 2 Yorkies- Bailey and Tia. They are pampered indoor Diva's due to the weather (Coldest place on the planet at least 5 days a winter- not too far off on any of the rest). Also am hoping to add a beiwer to oour family. Just about did this summer, but our bi-laws state 2 dogs. I am trying to get it changes because it doen't address size. When I do, I'll be right in the market. |

Wow! I'm from Winnipeg and Toby goes with my parents to Florida every winter. He'd never survive up there! You must have boots and sweaters for them. |

Any chance in seeing a few of your outfits It would be a great business, as I see more and more people dressing their dogs up. I'm into it big time. Yorkies as you know get cold. I'm in Calgary, thank god our winters aren't that bad, but I still dress Chelsea very warm when we go for walks. Love to see some outfits. Deborah |

She has a new litter and charges $2000.00. She is well known as a good breeder. I was going to purchase the 6mo. but have to give the money to the stupid government back taxes, wld prefer the little girl. |

Yea for all the Canadians! I have been a member for a while, and a year ago when I decided to move to Vancouver, there were about 3 canadians on YT! This is SO great to see that now we even have our own little western forum!! I am book marking some of those breeders that some of you recommended!! Anyways, rah rah for Vancouver YTers! |

Hi All, Iver never posted before on this site- My husband and I live in Edmonton and just got our little yorkie today. We wanted one for some time now so now that hes here we are very excited! He seems to be shy- he will leave his crate to sniff things then back in again right away but he is the sweetest little pup I have ever seen (but Im sure all yorkie owners say that!) so we are just leaving him be so he can get used to our house in his own time. Anyhows, just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself. Take care all!! |

Hi there in Edmonton I am in Union Bay BC Vancouver Island , and our little guy , Caji is 7 months old now . Yorkies are really cute and we love this fellow to bits. He is in the terrible 2's stage now and really keeps us hopping . This is our second Yorkie and we just love the breed. Our 1st Yorkie JC we had to have put to sleep as he had a genetic bone disease, he was 9 years old and we missed him so much we decided to get another one. I took Caji to puppy kindergarten for 6 weeks and it has really helped with obedience and socialization with other dogs. Its really interesting how using the right words can work wonders like off, leave it, stay, down , sit and etc. The word no is to be only used in emergencies if they are getting into something that can really hurt them. i learned a lot myself by going to the puppy classes and we both graduated.lol Carole and Caji:animal36 |
