Hey sorry just checked the thread. I live in Arden Heights where are you? I usually take Maxi to Gateway park or Wolfe's Pond park where they have dog runs. :)

I'm in Randall Manor. Silver Lake Park is near me so that's where I take Porkie. They have small & large dog runs. Haven't been there since October though, too cold for us now. :D

Oh we have never been in Silver lake part yet but its near me too. I live in SI for few years so defenately when it gets warm me and Maxi are defenately gonna go there check it out :)

hi i just found this thread...im originally from bk then moved to long island fsq and now im back in brooklyn on the same block.

Which area in Brooklyn do you live? I used to live in Brooklyn and was wondering if there are any good doggy parks there too. I go to Brooklyn all the time to visit my grandparents with my baby :)

im in bensonhurst...there is a dog park on 86th and 14th ave but i havent taken martini there yet not until it gets nice out..where in bk do u go to

No I know I gotta wait for the park walks until spring. I usually go to visit my friends at Sheepshead bay area and kings county.

bensonhurst is rt next to sheepshead its actually like 2 exits away on the belt

so there is a dog park rt off the 14th ave exit on the belt u get off take it staight and theres the park

OMG you are so right how could I forget about that park! I always pass by it lol thanks :) Maxi wont go to parks thou until spring its too cold for us. Once its nice and we are in Brooklyn we will defenately visit that park;)

ya i havent experienced taking martini there yet...i wouldnt know how to begin im scared cause shes tiny..and she isnt a leash dog shes a house lap dog...but she loves playin with my parents dogs and the groomers dogsthey run all over the store together so maybe i will bring her...im nervous tho..and of course wait till its nice out

We will be in NYC in a month! Will be living in Upper Westside..there's a doggy park there! We used to live there and we miss it soo much. We are sooo happy that we get to move back! The girls are looking for new friends in NYC and surrounding area! We are avail. for playdates! :D

Which doggy park? I also live on the upper west side:)

I actually haven't taken them to the groomers ever, so far I've just cut them myself and the girl's hair im letting grow for now but i did meet someone in central park that had a nicely groomed Yorkie and i got her card cause she is the groomer. She is around the 80s, i think on Columbus ave and was sooo sweet, i will give you the name and addie when i find the card, i'll PM it to you. It's also a doggie daycare, spa i believe. I plan to go there myself soon when i feel Teddy needs a good groom:)

thank you so much! I am gonna be needing a doggy day care info also since i take mine to daycare once or twice a week. i am soo glad we will be in the same neighborhood!! yay!!

Oh I wish I lived in Manhattan but me and Maxi sometimes go in the city so maybe one day we ll be there when you guys schedule the play day;)
