i've gone to an event or two. its alot of fun. I went on the cruise and saw peanut in her sailor outfit last year.

I just joined. The cruise looks like fun. I signed up once and then got another registration form. The first one was denied because they weren't taking any new members but the second was accepted. At first I thought, "Gee, these people must be real snobs," but I was wrong.

We've already joined the NYC Yorkie Power Playgroup. Cant wait till the cruise event. Still waiting for the fee.

the cruise is fun. me and morgan went on it last year. Its for all dogs under 20lbs i believe. there were lots of vendors on board, a raffle, and a lot of other things. The boat ride is a circle line up and down the river

I am a member and I've been to a couple of the events including the cruise. It's lots of fun meeting new people and watching all the beautiful dogs socialize.

They have other events too. There's a picnic in June that sounds nice.
The only problem I have is how to get to the city with Max. n Am I allowed to take him on the train? I can't drive because there's usually no parking in Manhattan. What do you guys do?

Well i have brought my Rocky to work with me once and yes you can bring them on the train, they do however have to be in a carrier so as not to disturb the passengers. However once people see you with those side ventilated carriers they are curious to know what's in the bag so i usually let his little head peak out lol

You were able to take Rocky with you on the LIRR or was it the subway? I usually drive into the city but yes, itz costly to park there. But this would be down by the South Street Seaport (the cruise), yes???
Itz been a long time since I have gone to Central Park on a Sunday. Are there any streets that have free parking on Sundays? I know the city is trying to drain us all dry!

I take my yorkie mutt, Sig on NJ Transit, NYC trains and Path trains with no problems. NJ Transit typically wants him in a carrier but lets me leave it open. NYC and Path I have just held him in my arms and in most cases not been asked to put him in a carrier.

As for free parking - downtown has lots on Sunday although thats not close to Central Park. Good luck!
