Recommend Vet in Brooklyn, NY? Hi, I've changed 2-3 vets within the last 2 1/2 years because I moved into different apartments. The first vet I gone to was pretty bad. It was an animal clinic and the place was....not cleaned. Now I am at Animal Kind at Park Slope and they're great and all but its very expensive and they're very impersonal. I don't even get reminders for shots and vaccinations. Then I found out on my own that my Spikey had missed a Bordatella shot as well as another vaccination. Anyone heard of the BAY RIDGE ANIMAL HOSPITAL? Not to be confused with the BAY RIDGE ANIMAL CLINIC which I heard was very bad where they were re-using hyperdermic needles, etc. I been to ST. FRANCIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL and they were good but it's a tad too far to travel. :( |
Update Update: I heard about a great vet at the Bay Ridge ANimal Hospital. I think I'll give that place a try. |
vet in brooklyn Hi! I'm Very happy with my vet dr.Gordon at Animal Clinic of Bensonhurst http://www.animalclinicofbensonhurst.com/.He really cares. |
oh and btw he owns two adorable yorkie :) |
I use Brooklyn Veterinary Group on New Utrecht Ave and 70 something St. It's right off the D train. I like Dr. Sweeney a lot. They also didn't send a reminder about Bordetella, but they are very personal, know your dog and are much cheaper than Animal Kind. I'm surprised they've become impersonal. They were wonderful when I used them, but that was awhile ago. They are way too expensive though. |
I highly recommend: Mobile Vet 94 Avenue U (Between West 9th & West 10th) Brooklyn, NY 11232 (718) 373-0240 Ask for Dr. Kaufman or Dr. Jaffe. |
I used Dr. Campenile on Flatbush and Fillmore Ave. I love him.....and the people that work there..... |
Thanks Thanks for the replies. I'll call those listed above and give them a try. :) |
