Hey guys, I'm trying to get some people together for a yorkie play date. it would be great fun to meet everyone in the New Jersey area. I've already sent out a couple invites to people on dogster too from jersey and posted in some forums there to people i met. I would really love YT memebers to come. This is a cool little dog run. i've been there with morgan many times already and she loves it. she is the smallest and cutest one there but there aren't really any yorkies to play with. It would be great if some of you guys could meet us there. We will be there regaurdless from 2pm till she gets tired, which takes a couple hours there LOL

Play Date:
Sept 9 @ 2:30 at the Wild Duck Pond Dog Run in Ridgewood.
Location: East Ridgewood Ave. Directions: GSP to Rt. 17 north to Ridgewood Ave. toward Ridgewood. Duck Pond is on the right, after traffic light at Paramus Rd. Dog areas are in the back, right off the drive-around. Separate areas for big and small dogs.

Can you make it?

LOL....that is such a Jersey thing to say! Now this is a South Jersey thing to say:

"I'm by the Turnpike, not the Parkway." :) (Exit 3 when I'm at my parents....Exit 7A when I'm at my apartment)

yeah wow, that would be quite a haul up here. you'd have to take the turnpike to the parkway plus another 30 miles or so. not a fun drive. the turnpike makes me stir crazy down there in the pines. nothing to look at but trees for MILES

I only like the Turnpike once I get past Rutgers....that's when there's stuff to look at! :) As for the Parkway....like you say, nothing at all to look at. I only use the Parkway when I'm leaving the shore. I've never taken it to North Jersey.

yeah i guess the parkway is full of trees too, but the exits are closer together so it doesn't seem as bad. I refuse to take the turnpike once it gets toward newark/oranges up in my area. its scary and there are way too many turnoffs. i ended up lost in newark one day and i vowed i would never ever get on the turnpike again unless it was after the parkway. *shudders*

eep, just checked mapquest from cherry hill to ridgewood and it would take you two hours to get up here. up to you if you want to take the drive. we would love to see you

i might of gone but the dog aint vacinated yet and by then it will only have had first series of shots which starts tomorrow

aw sorry you can't come. your little one will need all its distemper shots at least before it can come to the dog run. don't worry. we're there alot so whenever you want to meet up, we can arrange it :)

yeah it seems like more of you guys live down there. name a place and date that everyone can go and i'll make the hike down there. I went to college in Pomona/AC, so i got that area covered. anywhere other then that area i'm gonna need good directions LOL

There are a bunch of dog parks in Medford, NJ/Mount Laurel, NJ, etc etc

I can do it any weekend besides September 9th weekend...I have my sister's wedding :eek:

Diamond and I would LOVE to meet other YTers!

so its this saturday~~ everyone still coming who said they were coming ? morgan is so excited! hopefully it doesn't rain. the park is dirt and woodchips so if this rain doesn't let up then we might have to set a rain date for another day

Hey Guys! Meetup is tomorrow for those that want to come. Me and Morgan will definately be there. I"ll be the one with the obnoxious pupppy and the red dog carrier LOL
