Newutering Cost in NY
 
My yorkie is 8 months old and I was thinking about neutering him. He also needs 2 teeth pulled. My vet said everything will cost $500. I was wondering how much did others who neutered their dogs in NY pay? I can go to any vet in the Westchester, NY area. Thanks.

i live in ny and it costed me $ 175.00 to get lexi spayed and i think one tooth pulled.. not to bad

I just had Gage neutered on Tuesday and with the procedure and a thyroid panel test, the total was $115.

I've been looking at various pet insurance plans because we are getting a new puppy at the end of March and your question prompted me to call the veterinary practice we use and see how much they charged for various services and procedures. I was astounded at how much the costs have risen since our other dog was a puppy-she'll be eight this June. The cost for a neuter goes from $265-508 depending on how many office visits, pain meds, blood panel screenings, etc. are needed. A dental cleaning is $80, x-rays are recommended and cost $20 and each puppy tooth extraction is $10.

I am getting sparky neutered, 2 teeth extraction, and removal of his testical cause one did not drop, pain medication, cone to wrap around his neck for $220.

I paid 350..it would have been 275 but he had cryptorchidism(sp?)

Wow, that's a great price for this area. I paid $250.00 2 1/2 yrs ago for neutering only.

I paid approx. $300 for neutering and tooth removal in Putnam County 18 months ago. Now I live farther north and I'm told the vet costs are cheaper. $500 sounds high to me, but then Westchester prices are usually a little higher.

I'm fairly sure my vet told me 135. but I will be calling tomorrow to schedule her appt....I've been procrastinating seeing as I'm having a hard time dealing with taking her in.......

I went thruogh friends of animals for the neuter and while my boy was under the vet pulled his 2 puppy teeth. The whole thing was about $125.00.

I had Pepper neutered about 1.5 month ago and it cost me 230 or so with bloodwork (in Queens). But I work in Westchester and can relate to higher prices here (the daycare here in 35/day, in Queens or Brooklyn 20-25 for example)
