OOH LA LA, THE AFFAIRE OF THE SEASON……….Come join us for a cultural day of food, fun, fashion and festivities including the much anticipated POODLE PARADE. Prizes for the most creative cut/color, dog in drag (dress your breed as a poodle) and cutest beg! Anything goes at The Village as we are the premier and only “Dog Friendly Shopping Centre” in the Northeast! How Avant Garde! So, if you have a poodle, know someone who has a poodle or want to “disguise” your furry friend as a poodle, join in the fun!
Bring your appetite. The selection of French Faire will satisfy the most discerning palettes including “crepes” from Everything Homemade, ice cream “a la mode” from Chocolate Parfait, French fries, French onion soup, pink poodle cookies, truffles and much, much more. Sample the wines of Cava Winery from Crystal Springs Resort, crafted cheeses and French breads.
Be entertained by mimes, musicians and artists demonstrating their crafts and celebrating the Parisian Culture, which is Lafayette, NJ’s history. The Township of Lafayette was named in honor of the distinguished patriot, the Marquis de Lafayette, on the occasion of his triumphal return from France to America in 1824. Take home your first flowers of the spring season by our local garden centers.
Shop our fabulous new boutique stores including LoHo Living (Home Furnishings and Accessories), Felix the Cat General Store (Felix memorabilia, Felix Guitars, Felix Oil Paintings), Anything Goes (women’s fashion accessories) and Superior Bathworks (specialty bathroom accessories).
