My three little girls had baby teeth extracted at the same time they were spayed. Ashley and Kiwi stayed overnight at the vet, but our tiny baby, Gracie, came home the afternoon that she was spayed. It was a long time ago, so I don't remember details, but I remember how surprised I was to see her doing so well. The greatest challenge was limiting her activity, even that evening when she wanted to play with her sisters. Pepsi is going to be fine, but I understand why you are worried about him. I worried about my babies each time they had their dentals done, even though they were done yearly. Gracie needed them done twice a year due to her tiny teeth, and because of her small size, anesthesia was particularly a concern. Ashley needed three surgeries in her lifetime, one large and two small. Her last one was done when she was sixteen years old, and she did great. Just give your baby lots of extra kisses and remember that you are doing this for him because you love him. I are here for you if you need someone to talk to, and I will be thinking about you and Pepsi. |
