i was the exact same way! my advice is STOP!!! lol because i now have more stuff than i have use for.... |
As long as you're not into the mortgage money or eating beans while your furbaby wears designer, you're okay. When you first bring them home they need everything. And then you don't know exactly what you're gonna want to use or not...gosh what's a girl to do....LOL I think I ran into the thousands, so in my book you're doing real good, seriously. Take a deep breath. Assess what you've got. Start sorting out what you think you are actually going to use and go from there.. you'll slow down eventually, at least that is what I'm still telling myself  |
I feel for you...lol! I just got a new baby last week after I had one that passed away at the beginning of February. I already had everything I needed for him but felt like I needed to get new stuff. My husband has been giving me hell because he has been out of work for back surgery and money has been tight and I'm out shopping for the dog. This Yorkie is smaller though so he needs new clothes, some stairs to get up on the bed and btw he doesn't like the crate we have so I had to buy him an XPen. I already had food and treats but he is on a different kind food so I had to purchase that stuff too. Everything has been adding up so I know how you feel. |
Well, if your not hurting yourself financially, then go for it! Just remember to build up that emergency fund for any type of medical issues though. ;) Would love to see fashion show when you get all your loot! |
LOLOL....if you're asking me - it's kind of like stepping off into the "crack house" and asking for advice on how to quit....I wouldn't be much help in other words :D NOW....if you want to find a good bargain on yorkie things, I'm your girl to ask:p Seriously though like others have posted, if you're not hurting the family budget go ahead and indulge yourself for a bit.....I think the shopping does slow down eventually;) |
It is hard to stop. I am just a guilty. Like most have said, if you can afford it then go for it. It will slow down in time when you realize what you will really use and what just sits around.:animal36 |
