how do I make her hair shine?
 
What good products or tell me a grooming routine to keep my baby's hair looking gorgeous?

A good healthy shine begins on the inside. Make sure you are feeding a good, quality food and that should give your baby everything they need for a good coat along with daily brushing and a bath at least every 2 weeks. How old is your puppy? They do go through stages of shiney to dry when they are going from their puppy coat to their adult coat...usually between about 4 months up to a year they can look pretty rough for a while. Once they blow the puppy coat and the adult coat comes in they will have a totally different look.

I have heard that giving them one egg (scrambled is fine) a week gives them a really shiny smooth coat.

I have never heard this before? Anyone else hear of this? I would love for Molly to have a shinier coat. Hers is very coarse.

At 3 1/2 months she might be starting to blow her puppy coat so she'll look dry for a few months anyway. Is her coat silk or cottony? A cottony coat looks dry compared to a silk coat I believe.

I do give mine one scrambled egg per week, not sure about the affects on the coat but they love it.

I heard of the one egg theory. It does seem to work but, I also heard olive oil mixed in their food should work and help regulate them.

her coat is silky

Hair shine is mostly genetics and shinny hair depends on how the light hits the hair. Do you really think everyone can have shiny hair if they eat an egg, or add a supplement to their diet? Or use Pantene for that matter? I wish! The smoother the hair shaft the shinier the hair, and that’s why straighter hair is perceived as shinier. I'm not saying good nutrition isn't important, and there has been success reported with omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, however they need to be used in the right combinations. There are topical grooming aids that can be applied to the hair to make it look shiner by making light bounce off it in a different way.
