Question about Petsmart Grooming in Yonkers
 
My Yorkie needs a haircut soon. I am a bit nervous about bringing him to the groomers because the first time I did they gave him a puppy cut, which I specifically said I did not want. I got a coupon in the mail for Petsmart grooming here in Yonkers. I was just curious if anyone has taken their Yorkie there. If so were you satisfied? Did they do a good job?

I used to go to the new one in Central but only when my friend worked there. She was the only one that was able to touch Koda. I do get lot of great reviews and there's another lady there that's very sweet with Yorkies. To be honest I am glad Koda gets the cuts at home but If for some reason I needed to go I'll go to the new one in Central Avenue. If you want I can get the name of the lady for you.

Thank you for your quick response. Yes, please let me know the name of the lady who is sweet with Yorkies. I would love to have someone who cares about my dog and will give him a cut the way I want it. I gave him a haircut myself last year. It didn't come out too bad but I would like for him to have it done professionally since I let it grow out this winter and it's really long.

Thanks but unfortunately I live in Westchester, NY and south jersey is a bit far from me. If there is any other Yorkie member who is also a groomer in Westchester please let me know because I would take my Yorkie to you :)

I'm sorry I realize how far you are. What I ment to say was that I have seen a lot of people complain about Petsmart and she is always there explaining what they should and should not do and what you need to look for and ask when you go to them, I figured maybe you could talk to her for advice.

I heard that there's a really good one in Rye on Rte 1. Ours has her hair growing out right now, but I believe there are listings online and you can prob find it in the superpages.
