What to do now that it's dark and cold? After a day of work, I liked taking my dog to the park to play with the other dogs, have fun and burn off some energy. But now it's getting cold, and by the time I make it to the park, it's dark. What do u guys do? Are there any places dogs can get together and run around indoors? I know there are doggie day camps, but i'm looking for something free. |
I am going to start taking Mickey to Biscuits and Bath - they have 7 locations in NYC. They have a free small dog play group every monday evening. I have heard great things about it, but have never been. Think I am going to go this Monday for the first time. They have a huge indoor area for the dogs to play together. Small Dog Play Groups (Under 20 lbs.) Every Monday from 7pm - 8pm Get your little one out of the house and on his/her way to becoming a social tiny tot! Nothing is more important than getting your tiny tot out of the house to meet a variety of dogs and people in a safe environment. Come enjoy our spacious indoor running fields and meet with friends for a great time! http://www.biscuitsandbath.com/events.php Does anyone go here? It looks like a great facility all around! |
you know, i was gonna do the same thing the other day but by the time i even leave work at 4:30 and start driving home its already getting dark. i hate the winter. So i would love to find an indoor place in jersey for her to go play |
Have you thought of maybe trying to set up an evening play date? You could take turns hosting it at different people's houses. I don't know about you, but Louie gets worn out playing with other dogs. Just a thought. |
Mine have free reign of the house, so they get a lot of exercise. Also, I'm in Florida so we can still get out a lot. |
My dogs also have use of most of the house and on really rainy/snowy days they like to run up and down the stairs and they get the " zoomies " a lot. LOL |
