Atlanta Airport Dog Park 1 Attachment(s) If you are flying and end up at ATL airport for any amount of time we have a 1000 sq. ft. doggie park. Two dogs are aloud in the park at a time. It really seems to help with flight stress. Here's a picture taken in the winter so the grass is brown, but you get the idea. Attachment 351080 |
1 Attachment(s) It's really pretty nice! Rory and Lane know it well. We are from Atlanta and fly "home" several times a year. Only one time do I remember it being pretty gross with poop everywhere. Here is a picture of them with the giant dog statue. It's right by the sky trains to the rental car center for those wondering. |

We have found our "spots" in ATL. By the elevators are little "nooks" that the flight attendants catch quick naps in ~ also a good place for a pee pad _ ATL does NOT like dogs outside of carriers  the other spot is the "family bathroom". Sugar potties and/or eats a meal there when need be. We can usually spend 10-15 minutes with her outside of her KB and stretching her legs before the next "leg" of our flight  |
I like the family restrooms to spread out the pee pads, too. As often as I fly out of there, I've never stopped at the dog park. It seems like we are always traveling when it's just too darn cold. |

I said yes? she said this is a "FAMILY" bathroom. I said I know. I was in there with my daughter ( I never refer to Sugar as my daughter _ this was pure shock value and to convey that Sugar IS my family!) She bristled and went on into the restroom;) |
Family restrooms are a life saver, especially if you only have a short layover. Rory and Lane will not use a pad in the typical restrooms, but if I lay a pad down in the family restroom they both race over to use it. I guess the normal bathrooms have far too much stimulation at their under the door level. |

That does look like a nice doggie park. There is one at John Wayne airport, but it's a 2'x3', and the one at LAX is about the same size. Wait... now I can't remember if it has one. |
