Did someone say there would be a meet up in February in Florida? It is awfully cold up here and Daisy has been wanting to see Florida......

That was one of my thoughts ~ to wait until Fall or beyond so our less"weather fortunate" members will maybe join us too!

I guess we could always do a trial run much sooner ;)

The hotel rooms are normal sized.....(fairly small :D) and can have double beds or a king.

WHICH DATES is the $1,000,000 question :D I think we need a fair amount of planning time. And I need to check into a possible rental of a dog park/splash park/picnic pavilion as well. I have too many ideas for just one weekend meet up I think :p

La Quinta is great I have stayed there before with 4 of my yorkies

I have stayed a several La Quinta's with 4 of my yorkies! They have always been great! Venice/Sarasota sounds great. I would be traveling from Melbourne, FL so one overnight would be good.

I would love to come but I fell while in the UK and am stuck here with a herniated disk and without my darling companion : ( I am so nervous about being away from him for so long, it is now one month . At least I know he is at home and well cared for and I can see him on Skype!

February here can still be pretty chilly for the beach though.

December might be hard for people to travel and plan with the holidays and spending that goes along with it:(

I like the beach idea, ....FYI: The water temp in the Gulf seems to drop in mid October to the lower 80's.... The water temp now (well Sunday)was 87 and getting warmer:D Just able to get in
