Titre test Does anyone know how long it normally takes to hear from the vet (or anyone for that matter) the results of the titre test. It is so important to me to be able to bring my baby home to the UK in July but I have heard nothing. I paid $300 for this test including overnight mail for the blood sample!:aimeeyork |

I had the test done in February!! I have to think something has gone wrong I am in the UK and have left messages on the vets answer machine but have not had a reply, probably they don't want to call outside the US : ( |
When I had titres drawn I believe it took a couple days for the lab to receive Finnigan's blood work and another couple days to have results. So, I'd assume 2 weeks at the most. We did have to have blood drawn twice because the lab lost his samples the first go round. |
titre I am so worried about this now! We have our plans all set around bringing Mogwi to England with us and now I don't know what has happened to this test : ( Thanks for all the replies:aimeeyork |
Relief I finally emailed the managing director of the Humane Society where I had the titre done. Within three hours I had a reply with the test reports attached!!! I am so happy, because of the length of time it took them to reply I thought I would have to do the test again. Mogwi is so small they had to take the sample from his jugular vein and I did not want to put him through that again. Plus it would have meant another six month wait! As it is the test was done February 22 so he will be good to go in August. I can't wait to see him with my family here in the UK, also the rules regarding dogs are much kinder here and there are no parks that ban dogs that I know of anyway. He will get to run around in the forest next to our house and to play with the neighborhood (small) dogs!:):animal36 |
