flying with boodles All of a sudden Mr. Boodles doesn't like flying. He acts like he can't clear his ears or something. He's great taking off and landing though. My vet suggested some children's benadryl, but not too much, he's only 3 lbs. I have a certificate so he can sit on my lap, doesn't have to be in his man cave the whole flight like he used to. What can I do? |

what does he do to make you think he can't clear his ears? maybe keep some water or treats handy? a lot of the time swallowing helps to clear the ears in humans, so i would think it might be the same for dogs? |
Try posting this in the "Traveling with Yorkies" thread. Traveling with Yorkies - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community You will probably get more answers. |
he pants and hangs his tongue out, really weird, he won't eat or drink anything until we land. |
What type of papers can you obtain that allows him to sit in your lap instead of under the seat in the carrier ? I travel every month and would love to be able to tell the flight attendant that I have authority to hold my baby on the plane - I get yelled at almost every flight |
you need a note from your doctor stating he is treating you for some kind of mental health issue. You can get online and read the requirements, just google emotional support animal rules or guidelines. You would think they would make the screaming babies sit underneath the seat as well :) |

LOL...Tooo funny!! |
Well that is interesting :) and a little funny however honestly my little Jazmine is emotional therapy for me and that is truth !! I waited 21 years to be in a position to have a little Yorkie - work and kids made me feel I wouldn't have time to dedicate - now I do and getting this tiny dog has brought so much fun and enjoyment to my life I haven't even had empty nest issues so in truth def quialifies for an emotional support dog :) I will look into it - thanks for the info !!! |
