From what I hear Vegas is not dog friendly. |
I don't think so....I have been to Vegas a lot and I have never seen people with their pups at the hotels or walking on the strip. Probably best to leave him home unfortunately. I think it would be really stressful on both you and him to have him with you in Vegas....JMO. |
At state line Buffalo Bills is pet friendly..... and about 4 yrs ago I went to Vegas for a wedding and put 2 of my furkids at a Bed & Breakfast for doggies in Vegas. I was very happy with them when I went to pick up my furkids I went by surprise at 11:00 pm and even made them open up for me (I did have to pay extra for that) my Buffy was just fine not drugged, not over anxious to go home just fine. I was going crazy over Buffy because she was sick and having breathing problems but the family would not understand at that time. Back then there were alot less pet friendly places, so would think now it would be much easier to find pet friendly hotel. |
do they have doggy day care in vegas? |
You can't I lived in vegas for 10 years. Only working dogs are alowed in thje casinos. I never saw one in the hotels. There are thives that will take your yorkie. I say, It is not a good idea. The area ios infested with sigarette smoke. Even if you found a doggy daycare, it would not be trusted. |
sorry for the typos |
I heard Vegas isn't dog friendly, like others mentioned already, and I also have never seen any dog on the strip in Vegas. Not only that, I wouldn't want to leave my yorkies in a hotel room alone, I'd be to afraid of them getting stolen. If you could find a babysitter I think that'd be the best option. |

My Husband & I were in Vegas a couple of months ago. He was playing in the casino. There was a lady sitting next to him @ a slot machine & I was standing behind him. I never really realized she was carrying 2 shoulder bags. My husband's arm touched her right shoulder bag when he turned. This is when I finally noticed her bag had mesh on one side. She seemed very nervous & put her arm on the bag....I guess to reassure her furbaby or didn't want him/her to bark. Of course, my DH never noticed a thing, but I was missing Bella & was very in tune to her Mommy-furbaby protectiveness. I think it would be very stressful taking our babies to LV, sadly so. Her baby was definitely incognito. |
I just moved fom vegas there are plenty of nice doggy daycare places there and they are licensed and bonded no one at the doggy day care is going to steal your dog you jut have to have plenty of money to pay for it because its not cheap. More than likely you cant bring them to the nice hotels on the strip so doggy daycare or a hotel off the strip is what you ned to do. |
I will be staying at the Bellagio... I guess will take him with me incognito :D:D:D |

Yeah, I'd just be very careful ... Bellagio has a strict No pet policy. I'm too much of a wimp, I'd worry that I would get caught :p We're going to Vegas this week, but not taking the boys (We normally travel with them, but Vegas is our one exception.) The only luxury pet friendly hotel, I know of, in Vegas is the Westin. Good luck and enjoy your trip!! |
Wow - that's more than I knew  I would have thought that the Bellagio would have some nice accommodations for furbabies  What a shame! I don't go down to the strip much so I couldn't really tell ya anything about the hotel policies. I'm sure there are alot of doggy day cares but I have never used any so I can't refer you. To be honest... I don't think I'd bring my babies down there. I hope you have a good time and that everything works out for you! |
There is one doggie day care that I feel would be great, I would consider using myself if I have to leave the girls home. But it is no where near the strip, so it wouldn't be very convenient. here's their site Doggie District Pet Resort - Home |

Vegas is really one place I would not take my dog. It really is not pet friendly at all & why risk trying to sneak him into a hotel. You really cannot take him into the casinos, restaurants or down to the pool. He would be stressed out in a strange hotel room all day. And the maid could leave the door open so he could get out or report you to mngmnt so you are asked to leave. We were in Vegas a couple of weeks ago & it was 118 degrees in the day and on Sat night at 11pm it was still 102, yuck...I was so glad to go home to fresh air and a breeze! |
Vegas or bust! The Westin Causarino Hotel in Las Vegas allows dogs. I go to Vegas alot, never really see anyone with their dog, but if you make sure to spend as much time with your pup and having a good time then you will be ok. |
Going to Vegas and going to a local park are to completely different things. I think it would be safer not to take Royce. |
did you go yet? |
