flying Us Air I'm trying to fly us air from buffalo Ny to Atlanta GA nexst week. I called about taking Tucker. They said a soft-sided carrier is fine for carry on and that a health certificate is recommended but not required.? what the heck does that mean. I have an appointment for a health check this afternoon, but it's going to cost 40.00 and I would like to not have to spend the money if it's not required. Do any of you guys have experience flying US Air. What should I do? |
You don't need a health certificat to fly US Air....I just brought a copy of Teddi's shot records and a copy of her rabies just in case. |
The airlines do not require the health certificate...it's a requirement from the state. That being said...no one asked to view my health certificate but I was informed the possibility was always there. |
Thanks guys. I ended up not going because somehow they didn't have my name on the appointment books  Anyway, hopefully all will be okay. I'll bring shot records for just in case. Also, US air told me a soft-sided carrier was acceptable. Is this true in your experience? I'll be taking my Kwigy bo alex, so he'll be enclosed. Thanks guys. |
A soft sided carrier is actually best cause it smooshes under the seat more easily. All the seats don't have the same room underneath, so this is essential. |
