HELP!!! Car Traveling?? So. I'm getting Izzy soon and I know I'll be traveling a lot with her since my bf is 5 hours away, we'll be taking trips there and to my parents which is 3 hours away. I'll also have my cat, Toby in the car. He does great as he sleeps in his hard carrier. I usually have him in the front seat when I travel by myself since he likes to be by me. He has traveled in the back when Rob and I would travel together. We both have smaller cars.. Olds Alero (mine) and Ford Contour (his). Both have airbags and I don't think I can turn them off. What is the best way to travel with a 4 lber? I've heard she doesnt' mind traveling, but I'm guessing this may be a trial and error test. We did get a pattern for a look-out seat at Joann's and his mom is planning on helping me make it for her. It's 12" by 12" and 8" high. Is it too big? Thanks! Kayla |
Any one!? Please help! |
Hi! I was reading a post earlier on the "car snoozer". I don't own one but am really considering buying it b/c it is on sale right now! Here is a link to the post! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-car-seat.html |

I had this one for Lucy when she was a baby and it worked great! Now I have the large version which can go in the front or back seat. I can turn off my airbag on the passenger side. |
I had three lookout car seats. Still have two, but when we got our new little girl this past December I bought the lookout console. Reason was........Zada and Azrael would keep trying to get out of the car seats and end up hanging over the sides all twisted. This way is like they have the entire back seat, but it sits high, and they can have their blankies, chews and toys right on the seat with them without losing them over the side. Anyway, I may not be much help, but this is another option. ;) |

My snoozer console is about 8'' wide .... and it's sturdy yet soft so you can kind of I guess squish it a bit to fit. |
I think I'm settled on getting the one that SaraAlexine00 has for Mia. Thanks all! Any additional comments would be nice to hear too! |
