Please Say A Prayer For Patti and Jack Patti called me to ask that I start this thread. Please pray to give Patti strength. Jack is very, very ill, and his illness has been very difficult for her. She lost her brother ten days ago, as well. Patti, I have been praying for both of you. I am so sorry that you have had to cope with so much sadness, and I'm also so very sorry about the loss of your brother. You have such a wonderful heart. I know Yorkietalk prayers are very powerful. I hope they give you strength and that you can feel our love. |
I spoke with Patti again. I was unsure of how much to disclose from what she told me. Jack has had Parkinson's Disease for 23 years and a brain injury since before I became a member in 2009. She told me the prayers and friendships from Yorkietalk have been what has helped both of them to get through his illness for all of these years. The nurse from hospice told her that they don't expect Jack to make it through the night. I am heartbroken for her. Please pray that Patti has the strength to get through this. |

An Update on Baby Blessing After eight days of suffering, Jack passed away yesterday. Patti has been at his side, like she always has through the years. She asked me again to thank everyone for their prayers. Patti continues to need our prayers to give her the strength to cope with life without Jack. Thank you for caring and for praying for Patti. |

Patti asked me to come on once again to thank everyone or their prayers. Adjusting to life without Jack is extremely painful. She is going to be picking up his ashes from the funeral home today. I'm sure our prayers will help her to cope with her loss. Thank you. |

Please know how very much I appreciate all your prayers. I thank God for His guidance and providing me the strength in careing for Jack through the years. Jack will always be a gift to me from God, he was the most wonderful man, I have been so very blessed that God chose me to be Jack's wife, we were so very close to each other, We were married almost 61 years. I am at such a loss without Jack, most of me went with him as I was holding him in my arm and holding his hand. I really need lots of prayers to help me get through, the tears keep flowing, I pray someday there will be a cure for Parkinsons. I thank you all so much.
