I've had a set back or two but now getting stronger. Rehab had to be set back and I have only had one that started Thursday and will continue on Thursdays for 26 weeks. It's something I really look forward to now.
I don't know how I can ever thank you all, you are the best. Never did I ever think I would be so tired though, that I would almost forget I owned a computer??
I think I am on the mend:)
Love you all,
Joan | Ugh, Joan. Aren't set-backs the worst?!?! Just when you are going along pretty great up jumps trouble and you are laid low for a while. You can't help but get depressed and feel a little sorry for yourself for a bit but then you begin to have better days and when the good ones outnumber the bad each week, you know you are progressing again! Try not to push it but keep on that dreaded rehab and get better and better. You have good, replaced, working parts in your heart now that lets it pump enough blood(containing oxygen and nourishment) to your brain, organs, muscles and nerves and with time, your body should thrive better than it could before the procedure.
All I can say is thank God that your heart problem was caught when it was, saving your life and giving you a future. You are such a sweet, loving, nurturing person, always with a wise word and encouragement and hope where it's needed and frankly, Joan, we couldn't do without you here! So take it easy, stay with your rehab, get better and better, knowing we are always pulling for and praying for you and so thrilled and glad to see each of your posts as they appear. I treasure every one of them as I do you, dear Joan. |
