When I was still working, in cases where we had a patient that did not tolerate the colon prep well, we actually admitted the patient to the hospital for their colon prep for the colonoscopy. I wonder if she told her docs of the issues she has with the side effects of the prep, especially with the drop in b/p, if they wouldnt prep her in house (in the hospital)....some of our patients were admitted the night before the procedure, some were admitted to day surgery early morning, prepped, and the procedure scheduled for the afternoon. It would be worth the effort to check into this possibility.... |

Her colonoscopy is set for July 2nd. Jeanie sounded cheerful, but she was also worried about Tibbe. He was acting fine, but earlier that morning she took Tibbe to the vet, and he was given a rabies shot and booster with Lepto in it. Jeanie did not want him to have the vaccine with Lepto, even though he never had a reaction to it. It had been many hours later, but she was afraid still. Jeanie misses everyone, and she is truly grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers from this community. |
dog I wonder if Jeanie is allergic to something that is triggering those awful headaches. We need to all pray that those headaches will go away or that she will find out what causes them. She may be eating something that triggers them. I sure wish our Jeanie could come back on and spread her Yorkie love again. She is one special lady and Tibbe is one blessed dog to be in her company! |

Praying that the Baylor specialist will be able to ease her headaches and that she will be well enough to have the colonoscopy performed on the 2nd. We miss you Jeanie, come back soon. After reading Yorkiemom1 (Judy)'s post, it is good to know they can have the prep administered at the hospital if you can, it may be easier for you there.
