Still praying and thinking of you constantly, Jomarie. I pray things are not really bad right now but know how awful some surgery is so if it is, I hope they're at least helping you out with medications and whatever they have available. Hate thinking about you suffering.

I should have known:) but never anything wrong with using our shoulders when you need to at times.

That is so true, we really feel like family and especially at time of need.

Hoping you are out of the hospital, home & in your own bed by now, Jomarie. And hoping somehow you are being kept comfortable with the p.o. medications. I know those drains have got to be so awful and hard to live with and can only hope that you have plenty of help with you. Prayer for healing and peace is continuing and I think about you all the time.

JoMarie, after your extensive 5 hour surgery I am beginning to think they are keeping you in the hospital for awhile. If you are there and can read or someone lets you know whats been posted OR at home and not able to post, just know we are praying for you. God Bless.

I am a breast cancer survivor and I give all my health blessings to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I ran to Him when I got my diagnosis, so scared. His promises to me kept me from falling apart. I wrote down my Psalm 46 God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
I said that,believed that and left my life in His hands. He is the one I serve. I live for. So much comfort when Jesus walks besides you and comforts you. I will pray for you as you walk through this very tough time. Believe that you can do all things through Christ Who strengthens you. You will be amazed at His power to heal you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. I know, I walked this road of suffering and He is faithful to keep you . Without Him I am nothing, without Him I'd surely fail. Without Him I would be drifting like a ship without a sail. My prayers surround you with His love.

Sorry I wasn't online yesterday(Tibbe not feeling well) but got a PM from Jomarie! She wanted me to tell you all that she made it through it dues to all the prayers and good wishes. Doctors told her husband she came through that long double mastectomy, base reconstruction process okay. She came home Friday with four drain tubes, so bruised she can't tell about the status of the reconstruction & on many medications. There are problems with circulation in the skin & nipple of the left breast & it will be a while before they know if the circulation will improve so she needs prayers for that situation, prayers she can keep the nipple. Bless her sweet heart.

Her lymph node biopsy was negative!!! Yea!!! She's obviously miserable and said she is very tired now but is hanging tough in there from the tenor of her words! Such a strong lady! She's so much stronger than she knows. I was so relieved to hear from her I almost fainted. Thank God she's alive and cancer-free now and on her way to healing. Just need them to get that circulatory issue resolved and hopefully that will work out with lots of prayer and good medical treatment. I am SO GLAD we heard from Jomarie! I'll post more when I hear or she comes online and posts herself. God bless her and keep her.

Oh, thank you Jeanie for posting update! I will be keeping JoMarie in my prayers that the circulation improves. I am so happy to hear the biopsy is negative! Thank God! You are in my thoughts and prayers to recover quickly.

I don't know how I missed this, this morning. Jeanie thank you for letting us know that JoMarie got through the difficult surgery alright. I'm sure she is a lot of pain but sounds like she is cancer free and at this point and that is such good news:)

JoMarie, you are a very strong woman. I'm sure the next week or so will be hard for you until you begin to heal but with all our prayers, I do hope it will help your spirits.

I am praying your circulation is getting better and better. I'm sure he/she has but I'll ask anyway: Has your surgeon gotten a vascular surgery consult yet? If not, it sounds like you might need one to look at the area and suggest the next steps, even if it involves going back in. You're in my thoughts and prayers, Jomarie. All the time. ♥♥♥

I am glad to hear JoMarie is home and recovering. Praying she continues to improve and doesn't need to go back in.

Still praying that JoMarie has a quick and complete recovery.

It's almost one week now and I'm sure glad you've come this far and surgery is behind you. I'm so praying the circulation is better in the left breast skin and nipple and you are generally feeling less pain than those first awful days after surgery. Will be so glad when you feel like checking in so we can know how you are doing but we all understand very well how hard that is to do when you are feeling lousy and are busy just getting through the next few hours. Here's hoping that things are better and will keep on getting better.
