Claire [tinyterriers] For the people who know Claire [tinyterriers], she and her husband had to go to an Assisted Living Facility the day after Christmas. Her husband had a stroke in 2011. He is actually doing better now. For a number of months, Claire has been falling down and hitting her head. The doctor thinks she may have a slight brain injury. I致e noticed it some, when I speak with her on the phone. I知 a little sad to think it has come to this for them. I do feel it is necessary though so that they will be safe. Their daughter said they have a really nice apartment and even have a kitchenette. I wish them the best , as I知 sure you do too. Life sure has its up and downs as we grow older. God Bless them! I知 sure they would appreciate your prayers. God Bless ! |

This breaks my heart. I love Claire...she is the sweetest lady. I will be praying. I'm glad Norman is doing better, and hope Claire improves too. Have they tried to find out the reason for her falling? My heart goes out to Claire and Norman. |

Thoughts and Prayers for Claire and Norman. Carol, I sent you a p/message. Their phone has been disconnected.Hope her physician gets a ortho helmet fitted for her, and that she has the MRI or cat scan done by Neuro Specialist,this is very important. Please keep us updated. Thanks. |

This is really heartbreaking and I pray they will soon adjust to their new surroundings. I hope her daughter is able to take April and McKenzie to see them often. I know how much Claire loves those babies. |
I called Claire yesterday. She was so touched by all of your messages. When she gets better she said she wants to come back to Yorkie Talk and thank everyone herself. For now, she is resting and trying not to fall again. She takes the walker everywhere. She uses the type that has a seat. Those seem to be the best. My mother has one. I want to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year. xoxo Shirl, Claire's daughter has the pups. She is having a difficult time leaving Makensie while she goes to work. She howls and howls. She does take them with her to work some of the time. She brings them both when she visits Claire. Of course, they are so happy to see each other and Norman too. :) |
