Prayers please
 
My Granny is 100 yrs old. Today, she was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. The Dr says it looks bad and she may not make it. We have been blessed to have her for so many years. If it's her time to go home, pray for my family to have the strength to celebrate her life and not mourn her death.

My Granny asked for the preacher last night. He came, prayed with her and asked if she was saved, she is. He asked if she was ready to meet The Lord, she said " not yet". That's my Granny.

Update....Granny is doing much better today. She is alert and eating. Her vitals are good. Thanks for your prayers!!!

Prayers lifted for you and your family. But mostly for granny...if it is her time, may she go peacefully and not suffer.

I understand how you feel. We lost my granny last year at 93 years old. PM me if you need to talk or even just cry. Hugs to you.

Thanks, everyone. Steph, I will keep your offer close. I'm still not sure she will recover. She and my Papaw helped raise me. They were always my safe haven. I hate that I just can't be with her right now. Thanks again!

My Granny has taken a turn for the worse. They don't expect her to make it through the night. I love her so much. Please pray she has a peaceful passing.

Kathy, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Granny. What a sad and painful time this must be for you and your family. It sound as though she was a very strong woman who loved her family dearly. You were blessed to have had her with you for such a long time. I think you must come from some pretty strong genes too. Blessing and prayers to you and your family during these very sad days. I pray you find some comfort and peace during this difficult season.

How sweet you call her Granny. We had Granny from New Orleans. Mawmaw and Pawpaw. Now your Granny is 100! She is under the protection of the Lord. He has her life in His hands and only He can number her days. Praise Him for every day and know that your granny is one special precious person. We cannot imagine heaven and the beauty of it but I will tell you that the Lord promises us this place and I believe His word is true. We will all rejoice and be together and see His face. Granny is in His presence now and it is sad for us. You will see her one day. Prayers for you, She is with Jesus.

Thanks so much, everyone. Her wake is tomorrow and funeral on Wed. While I know she had a long, loving life and was ready to lie down and rest, I will miss her so. She and my Papaw were my rocks and my safe Haven in a tough childhood. She was a special lady with 14 children, 42 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 25 great great grandchildren. I have a large, loving family.

I am so very sorry that I have not posted until now. I am deeply sorry for your and your family's loss of your Grandmother. She was 100 years old? That is so amazing. I know she was a role model to you and everyone else because she had to be living right to be on this earth for that long. I'm sure she was an amazing woman. And, I am sure she loved you so much and knew how much you loved her.

I am keeping you and your family in my prayers as you all cope with your feelings and missing her so very much. Take comfort knowing that she is in Paradise now and is waiting for you. You are separated temporarily, but someday soon - you will be together again forever. Hugs!
