Prayers for Rhonda.. Austin had an accident on trampoline. They are in Ft Smith for stitches... it looks like his eye brow and chin. I know Rhonda (baby girl rosie) would appreciate a prayer that Austin is ok and they get back home safe and sound. Pray the stitches heal and no infections. |
Uh oh......prayers and hugs for all! |
I am sure she will be on to update asap... but it seams he has a concussion. |
I knew she had an Alex but I didn't know about Austin, too! I'm going to pray for Austin and pray that child is okay! |
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Rhonda. I'm so sorry that your son got hurt. I hope he heals quickly and is soon free of pain. |
Sending prayers that Austin heals quickly! |

Sending prayers for all.... |
Thank you everyone! And thanks Shinja. You are a dear sweet friend. Austin is ok. He has a concussion and had two gashes from the fall. One above his eye and one on his chin. Apparently it's an area that bleeds a lot! He did have to get stitches and a tetanus shot. But he is going to be ok. I so appreciate the prayers. You know as mommas we tend to freak out when our babies are hurt! Thanks again! |
Poor guy. Glad he's going to be okay. I swear with boys sometimes you wonder if they'll ever live long enough to grow up! I had one of those daredevil young men who challenged life all the time on his bike, skates or skateboard, running down the court, field or sliding into base! We visited the ER more than a few times but thankfully, they do grow up in spite of themselves! |

Glad Austin will be ok. It has to be so scary to get those calls. |
So sorry Austin had this accident. I know his Mama was so worried. I'm only just seeing this now, but wanted to let you know that I'm praying Austin heals up quickly and that concussion goes away soon. |

I'm just seeing this now --- Austin! I'm glad he is going to be okay. He really banged himself up and gave you a good scare. Praying he recovers quickly. |
Well we were up late. His eye gash was hurting so we put an ice pack on it. Then his chin gash bled a little. He's exhausted and I'm exhausted. Lol. The joys of motherhood. I'm thinking the pain of the hit will be today. I'm letting him sleep so I will find out when he wakes up. I'm going to discuss the bait and switch story today. I'm a little ticked off at him now that he is ok. Haha. I know lots of people have trampolines but I'm going to end his fun with them. I told him last night if he ever got on another one I would be keeping his cell phone (which is his life line). The doctor was very nice to us. He said Austin was at the age that he commonly sees. Great....that means there is more to come. Again, thanks for the prayers and well wishes. |
just seeing this glad hes ok and prayers for a fast recovery... |
I'm glad that Austin is going to be OK. Hugs to all of you. |
Oh man! Glad he'll be ok Rhonda. We had a trampoline when my kids were young. The rule was 1 person on it at a time. Kids in the neighborhood always had the safety lecture from me if they wanted to use it. I was "the mean mom" for awhile  |

Whoever started selling trampolines to the public had to have stock in medical supply companies and a couple of hospital foundations and thought of a brilliant way to maximize their investment dollars. They should come with directions to the closest ER and how to splint a fracture. |
Glad he is going to be okay. Hugs and prayers for you both... |

The doctor said the same thing! Apparently boys are 23 before they get common sense! Haha! :D |
