My Dad's back prayers needed Well about 3-4 years ago my dad was working for a beer company and there was a broken door on the truck he was driving, well it fell right on top of my dad. Right on his back and neck. He couldn't do anything about it. So he has been hurting for a while now and he has been to many doctors and has taken many x-rays and shots. Nothing has really helped. The doctors say there is nothing wrong with him. And my dad just gets really emotional, cause he cant do the things he wanted to do with his 3 daughters. He tries his best and it hurts him. So I need some helping people for prayers. I don't want to see my dad like this no longer, it hurts me to see him hurting so bad. He can barely get out of bed and he says sometimes he feels like screaming, it hurts so bad. So Prayers are needed deeply and are appreciated. Thank you |

Oh and also my dad is only 34 btw. So he shouldn't go through this back pain. |
Have they done an mri or ct? my understanding is that xrays only show hard tissue, and don't typically show things like herniated discs or pinched nerves. Does he have shooting pains and/or tingling/numbness or more of a constant ache? My husband has a herniated disc. He's 29 and this is his 2nd. He had surgery on the 1st when he was 20. His issues are in his lower back he gets shooting pains in his leg and it goes numb when he walks. I think I would look into finding another dr. or a specialist. I can imagine how frustrating it must be for him. To me it would be one thing for them to say this is whats wrong and theres nothing we can do for it. As much as I would hate to hear it I could understand that, but to tell him nothing is wrong when he's in pain is ridiculous especially when the pain started after a door fell on his neck. |

I just had surgery on my back. I know the pain. Have they done MRI and a CT scan. If they haven't it is important that he does. I would also look for another Dr. , check for a spine specialist. Good thoughts and blessings for your dad. |

Praying for your dad! I am 52 and became disabled 7 years ago from several things. One being pain in my lower back that has a herniated disc and a Tarlov Cyst (a cyst in the tailbone). Neither are operable. I, too, understand the frustration and the pain. I hope he finds answers and relief very soon. |
