Thank you for the positive energy to Lynn, Judy, Diane, Kristin, Shinja, Patti, Michelle, Connie, Jeanie, Ann, Sandy, Rhonda, Cindy, Lisa, Jacqui, Courtney, Cindy & all of those other "lurkers" who probably just don't know WHAT to say!! :D I know how it is because sometimes I lack words too believe it or not.

I've tried to keep my whining to a bare minimum although I know it may seem I've ALWAYS got something yucky going on...welcome to my world.
I think the biggest yucky thing that haunts me is my relationship (non-existent) with my sister who suffers with brain disorders. I'm learning all I can with the help of NAMI & their Family to Family course. Of course, in the learning process, I've also had to examine my own self worth feelings. I've decided to become an advocate for mental health awareness because it's WAY past time that everyone stop treating it like leprosy.

Silly as it sounds the proverbial straw was breaking a presser foot I use a lot in my sewing. Sewing does let me feel like I'm doing something productive. For me, that's important because LORD KNOWS I surely wouldn't want to be one of "those people" who sit on YT all day because they have nothing better to do. (I'm really sick to death of people using this comment!)

Hey a broken presser foot, or any kind of broken foot for that matter, can certainly be the last straw that is needed to bring it all down!!! Hope you are feeling better....I know crocheting relaxes me and if I loose a hook, or just forget where it is, I can come unspooled! So....breathe deeply, we are here for all of us, and we will help you pull it all back together!

Sherry, it's so good to see you on line. You are to be applauded for your efforts in becoming a brain injury advocate. The goodness in you just overflows. You remain in my thoughts and prayers.

On a side note - how in the world did you break a pressure foot? HUH? You must be REALLY good -- in all my years of sewing I've broken countless needles on pressure feet but never a foot itself. Let us know what kind it was, perhaps someone has an "extra" to spare.

It's my zigzag foot. I somehow got fabric hung up on a teeny piece of it & instead of taking my time, I ripped it loose. Bad mistake! I ordered 2 new ones over a week ago and now I'm super frustrated with the time it's taking to get the danged things! LOL

sidenote- I'm STILL waiting on that dag gum presser foot! I sure hope it comes today. If I had known it was going to take nearly two weeks to get it I would've ordered it somewhere else.
