Been a bit of a long day. I had to take Teddy Bear for his follow up appointment, so I waited to see Callie and to see the cardiologist. Callie is ok if she stays in oxygen...her heart failure is worse and if she does not turn around, we may have to make a decision about her. Buying time now for her and also so that her foster mom and dad can be here with her on Sunday morning. Prayers for Callie will be so appreciated .. and for her foster parents who love her so.

Thank you all of you for your kind thoughts and words...and prayers. When I log in and see this thread it is a comfort to me.

Wow is all I can say. The saying is if He brings you to it He will bring you through it. Prayers being sent you way as always.

Oh, trust me, I am thinking of doing something along that line. Aren't there things that you can hang by the door??? I worked with someone once who put on over our office door, but I don't recall what it was....

I have some friends who follow the native american culture and they even hang sage by their doors when they have illnesses. I am thinking about you Linda...praying very hard for some happier moments for you!

I only just joined Yt last year, and then I haven't been on as much in the past few months bc I have been going through some illness. But, I am so very sorry to read of everything that you have had going on! I have had both friends and family go through breast cancer and treatment, and there really really are so very many advances today even versus a couple of years ago. I know that this has to be so much to process, and I can't imagine all that you have to be feeling. From all of the research I did for my friends and family, I would definitely say that you are in the best possible hands at MD Anderson!! My neighbor had been given a horrible prognosis with his particular cancer a few years ago, and once he went to MD Anderson for a second opinion, they were able to have him do a new treatment they had specific to what he had, and he is now several years in complete remission!!

I just wanted to say that I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!! I am also so sorry to hear about Sunny! I know that your dogs are your heart, and I am just so sorry!! Please know that I will also be one of the very many that are keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!!

OMG....got a call about an hour ago and Callie is turning around!! She is out of oxygen and holding her own so far. :)

I cannot wait until her foster mom hears this...been waiting here to get an email from her.

Checking in and so pleasantly surprised to hear about Callie - wow. Some good news. Would be so good for her to be able to stay out of oxygen so she can be a bit freer. Praying for you and your babies and believing for better times.

Linda, I just want to add how great you are to these pups. I believe HE has a plan for all of us. Looks like you are doing a good job providing for HIS animals! Bless you for all you do for them!!
