Thank you so much, everyone! It has been a roller coaster 24 hours but Jada does still seem upbeat. I think she feels it like we do..this is her year :) |
I hope that she gets another call soon. Big hugs to Jada and the entire family |
Oh, bless her heart. Poor kid has to be disappointed though she's no doubt putting on a brave front. Here is hoping and praying that when something tragic does happen, another match will be found and viable this time. |

Wonderful news, many prayers for Jada and the entire family. May God guide the surgeon's hands and guide the entire staff so that Jada's transplant is successful. |

Oh no :( I cannot imagine the emotions involved for any family and the patient when waiting for a transplant. |
Oh my goodness. Here is hoping and praying that everything is going to go great this time. I am so hoping that the next post tells us when the surgery is scheduled. God bless Jada. |
Thank you all so much for your continued prayers. Thank you, Morgan, for posting the update for me. It truly is a roller coaster ride...more so for Jada. But, once again, we have proven we can all get there AND get Gilbert taken care of at the drop of a hat. Her brother drove all the way from Georgia and that put a smile on her face. She was really having a hard time since she got out of the hospital last week..so much that she was crying and hurting really badly last night, so they went ahead and admitted her again. She is where she needs to be and that is the important thing. We know God has perfect timing (whether it is meant to be or not, He has a plan). So, we will keep on having faith and know the right lungs just haven't come along yet. They will in His time. |
That poor child! I just could hardly read your post. Isn't she just in her late teens or early 20's and has had this all of her young life? The thought that she cannot breathe for pain is more than I could stand to read. I am hurting so for her just reading that. I wish wish wish there was something more that I - we - could do. I know this - that poor kid is very tough to make it thing long and no wonder she is such a good candidate. I will continue praying to our Lord that this poor young lady can have her miracle very, very, very soon. I'm just so sorry this didn't work out. Poor, poor Jada. I'll bet her little heart is breaking but she's got hope. I pray she will hang on to her hope. |

Positive thoughts and prayers going her way. I still don't know why it's so hard for people to donate at this age in time. |
I have watched my friends daughter grow up with CF and now she is 19. She will do well for a while and then in and out of the hospital. I know what you are talking about and am so very excited for Jada. I pray that it will all go well and that there will be no rejection. May she have a long life and be able to breathe without a struggle. |
