Praying for your friend Amy and for her husband as he faces some very difficult decisions. |
Oh my, What a sad situation. Life can change so suddenly, can't it? I will pray that our Lord holds Amy in the palm of His hand, and that He gives Bob wisdom, strength, and peace as he makes difficult and painful decisions for his wife and family during these sad days. Patti and Jack, I'm so sorry. I know Amy is your friend, and your hearts must be hurting too. I will continue to pray. |

Sending prayers for Amy and her family. So sorry to read this. |
I am keeping them both in my prayers. Bob has some hard decisions to make. I hope you are feeling better too. As always you and Jack are in my prayers. |
Bob just phoned, he and his son and daughter met with the Neuro Specialists. They made the decision to remove everything from Amy and disconnect the ventilator. Bob is at such a loss, he was crying so hard on the phone. He won't leave her bedside, said he doesn't want to go to sleep, he wants to be awake every minute with her. Three years ago when Jack was in a coma I was told by Dr.s and nurses to talk to him, they believe coma patients are able to hear. I asked Bob to talk to Amy and tell her of his love for her and share whatever is in his heart and tell her what decision was made on her behalf, also of the decision he made on his part to go live with their daughter and her family. I believe Amy has been ready for a long time wanting God to call her home, she hated having dialysis 3 hrs. 3 times per week, the past few years, she refused the meds, and quit the injections some time back. Bob said on the phone tonight that he really never gave thought to being without Amy and how sudden this happened, and how quick life can change. How well we know this. God has blessed them, their wedding anniversary this month of 56 years of being one together. I believe Amy will be there with open arms to welcome Bob into Heaven when that time comes. Thank you all for your continued prayers for our friends and their families. Hugs, Patti and Jack |
