Thanks we are going back to see the doctor next Wed. Hopefully will find out more then.

Have they cultured his knee incision? I think I would ask for one if it has not been done already. He may have a bug that needs a different antibiotic. (Just a thought) I am sorry he is still having problems w this knee. Poor guy.

No they have not. I have been pretty easy going and just listening to the doctor. Wed I am putting on my mommy hat. And that can get ugly sometimes. It is time for some answers. This has been a month and I want it to end. There has to be something they can do! Sorry for the rant.

Sometimes the maternal instincts take over and watch out. Suddenly, everyone pays attention to our questions. Good luck and please update I will be praying you get answers. This has been going on to long, poor Alex.

Thank you. I will update as soon as I find out something. If this doctor don't give me the answers I need I will be going somewhere else. Thank you for the support and prayers.

Praying that this next week and next doctor visit brings better news for Alex and you. I can imagine you are frustrated for him.

I was praying this am, came back to check to see if there was any news, and DUH! :rolleyes: - it's next Wed! I'm going to blame perimenopause! (I probably share WAAYYYY too much sometimes). I will keep praying for NEXT Wed! ;)

We have a little bit of good news after the doctor visit! Alex's knee is still swollen but has gone down some. The infection is gone! And we don't go back for two months. The doctor seems to think the body will absorb the fluid on his knee. Thank you all for your prayers for my boy!

So glad that the infection is gone.I hope all the fluid is absorbed. Prayers still continue.

I am very happy to hear the infection is finally gone! :) Praying that the fluid does resolve on its own.
