Gallbladder surgery Wednesday
 
I'm having gallbladder surgery on the 22nd (Wednesday) and am asking for prayers for a safe surgery. I don't want to be a worrier about it, but I just hate surgery! Thanks everyone!

I had gall bladder surgery many years ago. If they do it laparoscopically like they did mine, recovery is a piece of cake. I wish you well.

I had mine out several years ago too ..recovery is much easier now. Good luck to you

I was told by two surgeons that I'm a poor candidate for laparoscopy surgery but he is going to try. Please say a prayer that he will find a way past old scar tissue. Thanks for your prayers.

Lila I pray that they will be able to do the laparoscopy surgery on you. I had mine done that way about 14 years ago and recovery was really fast. I will have you in my prayers Wednesday. You need to give DH your YT password so he can log in and let us know how you did.

He has access to YT at any given time so I'll ask him to update. Thanks for your prayers. I haven't hurt at all the last 2 days and it is making it hard to want to go thru with this! I was told I don't have any of the classic or typical symptoms but the ultrasound showed stones. The only symptom I've had is a very slight nagging dull and occasional twinge in that area.

Surgery cancelled
 
I cancelled my surgery because my husband got really sick at work this morning. He has pneumonia! He had it last year and it knocked him for a loop for a while. So, I will be taking care of him for at least the next few days. I'm feeling OK so I will reschedule soon.

Lila, I'm just seeing this now. I'm so sorry your husband is sick and I pray he recovers quickly. Pneumonia can be tough stuff. It put my father in the hospital when he was in his early 40s.

I also pray you can reschedule your surgery soon.

I am so sorry your hubby is ill with pneumonia, hope he is feeling well real soon.

Enchilila, I hope you will reschedule to get the gall bladder out when you can, especially since you said you do have gall stones :( I came on tonight looking for word how the surgery went for you. I will continue to keep you in prayer, along with your hubby.
