I will say a prayer for your dear Mom! My Mom is no longer here, but when she was alive, she had total knee replacements twice and did very well. It is not fun just after the surgery, but each day gets better, and they do a lot to keep the pain managed. I, like you, was very worried at the time, so I know how you are feeling. *HUG*

Thank you all so much for the thoughts and prayers. Mom did great with her surgery. She was really groggy when she finally got to her room. But by the time I left, they had brought in her supper tray and dad was feeding her. She was lots more alert when I left. She is in some discomfort, but that is to be expected. I got to talk to her surgeon and he said the surgery went perfect. They will be getting her up to walk in the morning, so I dread that for her.:( They are sending a physical therapist to her home for the next month, so luckily she wont have to leave home for that.

Thanks again for all the prayers...Yorkie Talk friends are the best in the world:) I love you guys!!

Oh Michelle, I am just now seeing this. I am so happy to hear your Mom came thru the surgery just fine.

Update...Mom has been up walking a little this morning. She had breakfast and so far she is sore but no pain!!! It is amazing. I was so worried as we had heard a few horror stories about knee replacements. But so far everything is going well. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers.

Yay! I am very happy to hear that your mom's surgery went well and that she is not in any pain today. Wishing her a speedy recovery. :)
