Prayers needed for family friends-child loss mentioned
 
My husbands best friend since 2nd grade and his wife had twin boys in August. Last night, one of them stopped breathing and they rushed him to the hospital but sadly it was too late. They're saying SIDS.

Please pray for them and their family, as well as the other 3 boys (2 older and the other twin). I know statistics are not in their favor, and most marriages that lose a child end in divorce. And life is going to be hard for them for a long while. I honestly don't know what to say or think-it just doesn't make sense to me why God would give them a baby just to take it back 2 motnhs later.

RIP Baby Elliot.

My heart aches for them, I too lost a son. Its something you never get over completely. And youre right most marriages break when there is a loss of a child. Tell them to trust in God, that is the only thing that will get them through this terrible loss. Remember god didnt give us children, he loaned them to us. They will be in my prayers.

I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through (or you as well) and my heart aches for those who have lost a child no matter the age. Your prayers are appreciated.

Michele, I am so very sorry for the loss and unimaginable pain your family friends are going through. I pray for them to have strength.

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine there being anything more difficult to bare.

I can not imagine what they are going through. I lost two babies through miscarriages and I remember my pain. But I never held mine as the miscarriages were early on. I truly can not imagine how they must feel. My heart breaks for them as they endure this hard time.

As linda44 said, I don't think it is something that they will ever get over either. But I love how she ended it with "god didnt give us children, he loaned them to us". Faith will get them through this trying time. I will lift both of them up in prayer. Linda, so sorry for your loss as well.

So sorry. I hope they pull together and get through this. I know they say a lot of times it ends in divorce but I imagine a lot of times it doesn't.
It is very tragic and I will be praying for your friends.

I cannot begin to imagine the tragedy of losing a child. I will definately keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.

I will say prayers for the entire family. What a tragedy, to lose a baby that way. They are going to need lots of support from family and friends. My heart breaks for them all :(

Add me to those that\'ll say a prayer for strength for the whole family.
We lost my ex husband to suicide a few months ago & my sisters 19 yo son in a terrible accident a year before that. I cannot imagine losing a child, that has to be the worst grief of all :cry8:

How very sad for your friends. God must have had a reason for wanting Elliot back.
Prayers certainly going out to them during this difficult time.
