I talked to Patti early this morn. They wrapped Jack's wrist and arm and sent him home! I couldn't believe they wouldn't call in an orthopedic person to see him last night. Patti has to get him into someone today. He's in a lot of pain, poor guy. Thanks for your prayers! |
This is so horrible! I'm keeping Patti and Jack in my prayers... |
Keeping Patti and Jack in my thoughts and prayers. |
Prayers for Jack & Patti, I hope they can take care of his pain levels. |
I pray that Jack will be okay. Patti has been dealing with so much for a very long time. She needs our prayers as well. Please let us know how Jack is doing Connie. God bless the both of them. |
I just got off the phone with Patti. First, she wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and said it was so touching to know that her friends on YT were praying for Jack. He will be having surgery on Friday. They will be going for pre-op's tomorrow. If there are no complications with the surgery he will be going home after it's complete. He is in a lot of pain. |
Patti and Jack are in my prayers. She called me this morning when she got home from the hospital and was so exhausted. There wasn't a pharmacy open during the night to get Jack's pain pills filled. I can't believe they sent him home with no pills knowing Patti couldn't get the prescription filled at 4 am. They both need prayers. |
Thanks for the update. Keeping them in my prayers. |
My prayers are with Patti and Jack as they face another obstacle in their lives. Ii hope Jack's arm heals and Patti's heart feels lighter soon. I wish them brighter days ahead and hope that the love, comfort and prayers that they receive from others helps them to overcome their hurtles and to keep them stronger. |

Connie, as strange as this may sound, it may have been a blessing. I speak from experience. When ortho's are called to the emergency room, way too often they examine with $$ in their eyes rather than the best possible care for the patient. I don't want to steal concern away from Patti and Jack, but the only way to explain is through personal experience. The ortho that attended me in the emergency room SHOULD have followed the protocol for the type of injury I had -- he should have hospitalized me, let the swelling go down and then REFER me to an ortho specialists that handles the type of injury I have. Instead, he grabbed the $$ for the surgery and I have been in agony for 4 years. I would suggest that Patti do a bit of research and find an ortho that specializes in the type of fracture that Jack has. Only then will she be assured that Jack will get the appropriate care. More prayers and hugs to these special YT family members. |
Continuing to pray for Patti and Jack. |
just reading this post.... I am adding my prayers that all goes well... |
Surgery Friday I just talked with Patti and she said Jack is scheduled for surgery at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon and asks for continued prayers. They are going to use a plate and screws to repair his wrist. |
