My Granddog, Bailey, needs your prayers.... My son's yorkie, Bailey, suddenly had a terrible seizure yesterday. My son and daughter in law found him on the floor and he was a mess. They called and I met them at the vet. By the time I got there, Bailey was not able to do anything but lift his head a bit when he heard my voice. He was transferred to the specialists that I use in Houston. By yesterday afternoon he was able to stand but could not walk. He has some clear neurological deficits and the thought at this point is a stroke. He will remain hospitalized in their ICU. He was seen by the neurologist, but because he also had a very low heart rate and hypertension, he was kept in medical for an evaluation. On Monday he will be transferred to Neuro. When the hospital called last night, he was stable. We will be visiting him today. Please remember Bailey in your prayers. |

I know how bad your feeling because I'm going thru the same thing with my granddog who lives in San Francisco. I will be praying for both of these babies. Warm hugs to you and your family. |
Thank you everyone for your well wishes and prayers for Bailey. He was improving today. He looks very tired; but his heart rate is normal now and his blood pressure has stabilized. His neuro deficits are improving. He looked tired, but was happy to see us. If he continues as he is, there is a chance he will be able to go home on Monday. |
