Prayers for Renee and family!
 
Today Renee's (rbelland) father in law passed away. She is heart broken. (Please refer to this previous thread)

Renee has been the person caring for Gabe day in and day out, she was an angel in his life.

Renee, I love you, Gary and the kids. I am praying that God will give you Peace that passes all understanding. I pray you will find the strenth (as you always do) to make it thru.

Kiss the kids, hug Gary and call me if you need me. Try to rest sweetie.

Renee, I am so sorry about your father-in-law. I know how hard it is to care for a bedridden loved one, and how hard it is to lose them. You sound like a very strong, caring woman.

I hope you will find comfort in knowing what an important thing you did for Gabe. There aren't that many people with enough love and strength to do what you have done.

I am so sorry to hear about your Father in Law's passing. It is even a more difficult loss the person who was the primary caregiver. Take care of yourself and take some comfort in knowing you were his angel in his time of great need.

First of all I would like to thank Dana for starting this thread.

Thank you all for your prayers and most of all being here for me. Thank you so much!

This has been the longest week ever for me. I am so exausted.

It was a matter of hours. The doctors told us that he would not be able to breath off the venalator. His only kidney had failed and it was just way to much for him to handle. It was the hardest thing we have ever done. I am sure Gabe knew he was ready.

It was so much work but I really miss him. His smile would just make my day.

I took him in to the doc in the morning and he was critical by that night. He kissed me on the forehead as I was taking him to the van to go in. Told me he loved me and then was not very responsive.

I feel so sad but I know he is in a better place. Angels have taken him to a most sacred place and he will be free forever of all his pain and worries. Someday we will meet, I will see his big smile again.

Life is so short and I have learned a great lesson here. You never know what will happen next. Thanks for all your support.
