I just talked to Connie and she was on the phone to Patti and she saw a fire fighter in a 4 wheeler and he said her property was so cleared out she could wait a little longer to evacuate. We are just worried sick that they are still in the fires path and why did the firefighter not encourage her to leave while she can. We are praying they remain safe. |
Sending prayers for safety during this difficult time... |
Keeping Patti and Jack in our prayers! Please Dear God, Keep them safe! |
Any news? Patti and Jack have been in my thoughts and prayers since I woke this morning |
Patti called me around 6pm and she sounded so tired in her message. She said the roads are still blocked and there are embers burning and the winds have kicked up again. She said she hadn't been listening to the TV. I am praying she stays safe and can finally get some rest. I will update when I talk to her. Please keep the prayers going. |
just seeing this thread - Patti and her family are in my thoughts and prayers until they are safe. What a horrible thing to have to go through. I can't even begin to imagine.:hands: |
I've heard the evacuations have stopped.... 80% controlled... but not sure if this is the area where Patti and Jack live... I am so geographically challenged... any updates please! Still praying like a maniac that they are safe! |
I'm just seeing this about the fires!! Has anyone talked to Patti recently? Are she and Jack alright? Is there anything she needs? Can we do anything for her? |
It seems the worst is over now. Patti is just very exhausted. Hopefully she can know get some rest. I know their friends house down the mountain from them was destroyed. |
I just talked with Patti and she wanted me to Thank everyone for all their prayers. She is totally exhausted and should be able to get some rest now. |
Thankyou God! I was so worried, along with everyone else! More prayers for those who were not as fortunate... |
picture of fire taken from our deck. 1 Attachment(s) I still have computer problems, I redid my computer but it is not working good at all, keep getting booted and getting error, and more errors :( won't be able to continue to use this one, I look forward to getting a new computer in a couple months. I lost everything from that virus we got hit with July 4th :( I took a picture from our deck ( zoomed in looking straight across to the other side of our valley) of the raging fire that went through our area the 30th of July and wanted to share this with you all, I just did download it tonight into the computer and please tell me, can you see the image in the center of the picture?????? What does it look like to you?????? I sure want to thank the many folks that was praying for all the people in line of this raging fire in our area, it went completely about us except west of us it raged east of us but then turned and was coming back our way, now I know what a raging firestorm is all about........VERY SCAREY, the firemen did a fantastic job, Bless them, their line of work they do is really a courageous job. Thank you Patti for doing this prayer thread, everytime I drive the canyon going into the city and look at the charred mountains and valley I give thanks to the Lord there were no injuries nor loss of life seeing those homes that remained.....sitting untouched, everything right up to the homes were charred black, and one could see how hot that fire was with the ash. Thank you to each of you that were praying for us all during this time, wrapping our community within the power of prayer to keep all safe. When I loaded this picture on the computer and saw it tonight, first thing came to my mind was that the image in the middle of the picture is seeing an angel :) and I immediately thought of you all. Love and Hugs from us both, Patti and Jack and girls. |
