Update Patti's daughter, Jackie, was admitted to the hospital today and she is in terrible pain and so awfully weak. The pain meds aren't helping ease the pain. Patti is worried out of her mind and would appreciate if you all keep praying for Jackie...that they can finally come up with a diagnosis so she can on the road to recovery. Jack is also having some medical issues and could also use prayer...along with Patti. She had too much on her shoulders right now. |

Patti called today to say that Joe had called (Her SIL, Jackie's husband) to say that Jackie is now back in the hospital. She had gotten released Sunday with still no answers and is now back in...she is so very weak and in such terrible pain. Patti asked that I request prayer continue for Jackie. This is so scary. Thank you! |
So sorry Patti I'm really sorry that the doctors haven't found out what is wrong with Jackie. I am sending prayers for all of you. I pray the doctors find out what is going on with her very soon. Jackie,Patti's daughter I have talked to Patti and her dgt. is really in a tough way,can't find out whats wrong with her,I am praying constantly that something good will happen,Patti is so worried as we well understand. She said to let everyone know how appreciative she is for all YT friends for all their prayers,she thanks all of you so much.We have to keep praying and keep her in our thoughts that something good will happen soon. I just spoke to Patti and her daughter had another episode of her heart stopping. The cardiologist has to get her stabilized before they can do any further testing. Jackie really needs our prayers, as well and Patti and Jack. Thanks |
Jackie was to have had a MRI Brain scan done at around two this afternoon, it is three hours later and still not done. Please please keep Jackie in prayer, our oldest daughter will be going in with her at the time they do it to be with Jackie, I also was told the Cardiolist needs to do a heart cath (don't know exactly what that is) but this will be done because her heart had stopped once while they was doing a CT scan and they had to use the paddle the first time it happened, her heart stopped again night before last but it started back on it's own, Jackie is so, so seriously ill, we are so grateful for all your prayers and our Dear Jackie understood before that all is in God's hands and that you all have been praying for her, since Sunday she has been very confused, right now the Cardiologist is her main physician as they need to stabilze her heart. I try not to understand in my own way of what is going on cause God showed me many years ago that it can be "stinkin thinkin" but that in all things to lean on him and HIS understanding and not my own. I hope you all know what I am saying, right now I am just reaching out to the Lord for Him to direct the new physicians that now is caring for Jackie, to lead direct each and everyone that is caring for her. I am so disgusted with medical care it is beyond saying much here and now but I eventually definately will be doing a blog (which I have never done here) at YT of what I have come to learn this past year regarding the poor quality of care which we have encountered, we do have SOME wonderful nurses and doctors HOWEVER there are those that should be ashamed of claiming to be a nurse or doctor. I reinstalled the original disk for our computer and hopefully can get it to work for me, till I get a new computer in Novemeber. Thank you all again so much for your prayers for Jackie. I will come back later when I can. In closing I again want to say a great big thanks to each of you for praying Jackie and for needs for ourselves and all other Yorkie Talk Family Members needs, we are all so BLESSED to be able to come here and join together in prayer for one anothers needs when they arise. Thank you. Thank you for much needed continued prayers. This song that I am posting here is so beautiful, I find it's words apply to my life in so many ways with the birth of Jackie, and I want to dedicate it to Our Dear Jackie. Jack and I are so very blessed to have such a wonderful daughter, she is a most wonderful young lady, throughout her life showing love and caring for others constantly, she is the world to her Daddy and I. I am at such a loss as to what she is going through, if I could I would gladly trade places with her to get her well. Please continue to lift Jackie to the Lord in your prayers for healing. I know we are a gift to one another from God, how very blessed we have been in our life time. I thank God daily for our many blessings and His great love for us all. It has been very difficult for me to post up untill today, these weeks have been very trying and full of uncertainties, we're so very thankful to let you all know Jackie is now in a rehab hospital, we don't know how long she will be in rehab nor what the outcome is going to be. We are so thankful for each and everyone of your prayers. Jackie is now recieving speech, occupational therapy along with physical therapy. After all these weeks she was able to take a couple steps her body being supported with something like a hoist with a halter around her to prevent falling, hearing she had taken a couple steps with the aid of this halter hoist was such a blessing. It is very slow going but we know God holds each tomorrow in His hands and we continually are lifting her up to Him and leaning on the hope of her continually to get better. Over a year now, with Jack's injury and then Jackie's illness I have drawn closer to the Lord than ever, and He has given me an abundance of strength. I can honestly say no matter how long a day and night may be at different times, the fullfillment of energy He has provided me has been beyond what one could hope for. I am very grateful to everyones prayers cause I know it is through each and everyone that when we pray for one anothers needs God so provides His Miracles. We are still told that the Dr.s don't know the cause of Jackie's illness in the beginning, we sure wish they knew, we hear is that they believe it was viral ???????? Thank you all for continuing to pray for Jackie and her husband, and us all. Jack and I are so blessed with each of you in our lives. I believe God truely does guide our path in life, sometimes it is getting through the darkness before we can see the light, my recently telling God that our daughter was His and thanking Him for the blessing of her in our lives. I truely believe it was at that moment things started to turn around for her, I have witnessed this many times over in my life with happenings and I sometimes feel I am short on my daily taking time out to really humble myself and have a heart to heart talk with the Lord. I want to thank Connie for starting a prayer thread and also to you Brenda, it is so wonderful to know that our precious fur babies have drawn us all so close. Sending hugs and our love from us both, and our Dear Jackie and our family. |
