My Mom My mom went into hospice a few weeks ago and passed away. Her service is tonight. I never realized how much I'd miss her. I left a lot unsaid. Time is not forever. She prayed she'd die and ask everyone to do the same. How do you pray for your mom to die? I wasn't able to do that, but I pray now that she is finally at peace. I really do not know how I'm going to get through tonight. Family Chain We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone. For part of us went with you The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again. |
My deepest sympathies on the loss of your mother. It's never easy losing someone. I hope your pain will ease with time. |
I am so sorry to hear that you lost your mom. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Hugs. You will find the strength to get through it. I thought the same thing when I lost my mom but God gave me so much strength at that time. |

Elaine...I'm so very sorry for the loss of your mother. Mine passed away 19 years ago....and it seems like yesterday and forever all at the same time. I still miss her everyday. Eventually your memories won't bring tears. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. |

Elaine - I am so very sorry to hear about your Mom. I can feel your pain. :unlove: Try to celebrate her life. My Dad died almost 6 yrs ago and I try to make sure that he still participates in our family get togethers. Odd as that may sound, I always bring up things he used to say or what I think he would think about something. It helps to keep him "with us" and remind us of what he stood for and the wisdom he would have shared. Beautiful poem. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless... |

My heart goes out to you on the loss of your Mom. I lost mine 3 years ago and miss her every day. My Dad went into Hospice in March and passed away 3 days later. Just take it minute by minute. Nights are hard. Hugs to you. |
