We're sending good thoughts and prayers that all goes smoothly and you hear back soon that all's well. :) |
Thank you everyone for the well wishes for Gracie. I just got home from picking her up and she did just great. Right now she's resting in her favorite chair. Only one problem, the vet said we couldn't have our dog back. She wanted to keep her! |

Thats great that she is recovering well. Tell your vet he will have to get his own Gracie is all yours. |
My vet's daughter was babysitting their neighbors two dogs, one of which was a Yorkie. Her (yes, my vet is a she) said the owners told her daughter to put the dogs in the garage for the night. My vet said no way, the yorkie would get to cold in the garage and had her daughter bring the yorkie to spend the nights with them. The yorkie spent a week sleeping in their bed with them and their dogs. Even though she sees many animals in her practice, she commented that it's not long enough to get a feel for their personalities. She loved the yorkie's personality and it's on her list of the next breed to own. And yes, she has to get her own, NOT mine. |
