What a little fighter this tiny girl is. Bless her heart. What great news
to read she's doing so much better. I will certainly keep Sophie and Angi
in my prayer's for a full and complete recovery.
I panic when Buddy get's sick and he's big I can't imagine a little one
being so sick. It's must be terrifying.

Thanks again to everyone who is supporting through your thoughts & prayers. I am excited for the good report this morning but am still holding back the excitement until she is safe in our arms, at home again.
Keep up the prayers...again, we REALLY appreciate it.

Just got back from teh vet !! Sophie is doing GREAT!!! Still on IV's for pain & antibiotics but eating very well. Sounds like she gets to come home Sunday morning. Lovin my fighter sophie ♥

Oh Angi, thank you for stopping by, giving me the heads up on your little Sophie. I'm so sorry that I missed this thread until now, but please know that you and Sophie are at the top of my prayer list hoping for continuing GREAT progress and recovery. She is a little doll-baby!!!

As long as Sophie's full blook panel test comes back good tomorrow then we will get a call that says we can come pick her up. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for a good blood test!

Aww Angi I am glad you updated. I was sickly yesterday so I didnt even log onto the computer!

Welp, just got the call from the Dr. Sophie will be staying at least one more night. Her white blood cell count is double what it should be, which could be a sign of infection still lengering or other things. They said she is up & around in her incubator, "active", but they are not comfortable sending her home with her WBC level the way it is. So, today we will go visit & continue to pray! :(

Angi, thank you for updating here. I know you have a lot on your plate with Ms Sophie there!!

Well, Sopie is home with her mommy & daddy. She is so excited to get to set with her daddy in their chair! Tomorrow she will get to spend her 3rd birthday at home w/her family!!!!
Her WBC level was still elevated.. it hadnt gone up or down since yesterdays test. However, they decdided to go ahead & let her come home with her meds & we are to watch for changes in behavior or eating/drinking. We will go back next week for another CBC blood test.
Thanks to everyone who, through your prayers, brought our Sophie home!

We will continue to hold Sophie and the family in our thoughts and prayers for continued and quick recovery!! How scary it all is sometimes.
