Thank you so much EVERYONE! Hi everyone, I am now 3 days post op. I'm doing a little better every day. I know it is due to ALL of your thoughts and prayers. I am still having a pretty difficult time swallowing. The good part is I'm back to under 120 lbs where I belong. At least I lost a few, so that's good. :) The collar is doing it's job and I'm sure I'll get used to it. What choice do I have, right? :) The surgeon's colleague came to see me after the surgery and said everything went well. I am so thankful for that. I missed seeing Calleigh. She wouldn't stop giving me lots of Yorkie kisses. That is the best medicine. I know everyone can relate to that. :) I will come back a little at a time. I can't bend my neck at all so typing is a little difficult at times. Again, thank you so much everyone for your thoughts and prayers. What wonderful friends I have. I am so blessed. Love, Carol |
about Carol Hi, went out shopping today and when I came home, went to see if there were any messages and to my surprise,Carol had been on, the little devil, but was happy to see she is feeling a little better, but I hope she doesn't push it.I will be calling her. I am sure everyone was happy to see her back for a little bit. Love, Claire and April |

Hi everyone I think I expected to be feeling all better by now. :) Lol. I guess this is going to take some time. My throat is a tiny bit better, but not that great still. My appetite is back, but the swallowing keeps me from eating very much. I can however, eat ice cream and isn't that the most important thing anyway? :) Hee..hee.. I hope all of you are well and I thank you for all of your prayers and support. xoxoxoxxoxo Carol |

I just now seen this, glad you are doing better, take it easy don't rush in to anything and follows the drs orders, take care. |
Thank You. I just wanted to say thank you once again to all the people who have been so nice. All of your good thoughts and prayers are helping. I had the neck brace removed on 11/25. I just started driving a few days ago. I was a little nervous at first. My neck is still pretty stiff, but that's to be expected. I've been putting heat on it and doing my exercises. I'm sure it will take a little longer to be pain free. You have all been so wonderful and I appreciate it so much. Love, Carol |
I am so happy your doing so well. Has the throat healed? Glad all it's all behind you now. Wishing you a very speedy recovery and take it slow. There's always tomorrow to get things done. |
I've been there and done this... lol Hi Carol, I can only be online but for a few minutes but just to let you know, I've been fused 4-7 in the cervical. It will take sometime and don't try to rush recovery. Take easy and don't try to turn your neck. Not sure what type of collar your in but let me know. I was in a hard neck and chest and also just the neck. Sleeping can be very difficult at times and try and keep your neck level. Just let people wait on you for awhile, I difficult I know and it's Christmas, but just take it easy. Got to go for now, hope you feel better real soon. God Bless and wishing you a speedy recovery.
