I often check this thread everynight before going to bed and add many on here to my nightly prayer list, and am hoping if others do the same please remember my 11 yr daughter in your prayers tonight. She seemed like she was coming down with a cold Friday morning, sniffles, sneezing..but NO fever, and no fever when she went to bed. Saturday she had a 103.7 fever and motrin only cut to 102. We did go to urgent care and she tested posted for Flu A-assumed to be H1N1 (swine flu).

The fever is better but oh my goodness hearing this poor baby coughing it is breaking my heart! She needs this coughing to let up so her body can rest. We talked to the doctor today and doing the normal flu remedy's, cough medicine, motrin, lost of fluids etc. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for her.

Im so sorry thats shes sick, my neice just got over from having this, and a friend of mines twin little boys. I hope she gets to feeling better real soon, keeping her in my Thoughts and prayers.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. It was a scary couple of days and have not had time to post much. She is doing GREAT now! For others that have to face this thought I would pass on some info. It comes on very very fast. Friday she was fine, little bit of runny nose that morning but NO fever, she got home from school the same. Went to bed with a bad headache and still really no fever, like 99.8...woke up Saturday with 103.7 fever and soooo sick. One thing I did learn is because she has had pneumonia and a neublizer/inhaler like only twice in her life because of bronchitis NOT asthma it made her high risk....which is scary. The cough with H1N1 is HORRIBLE, they cough so hard it really worries you, and they had us give her Motrin and Mucinex to keep her lungs clear. Also we were told to not let her just lay in bed all day, get them up every 2 hours to set upright and do a couple of deep breathes so that pnemonia hopefully wont set in.

Anyway thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers, it was of great comfort knowing I had others praying for her as well.
