Thanks again. I don't have the right words to tell you how much your thoughts and prayers mean to us.

I just called to check on them and JJ (my son) told me that that they had their dates confused. The appt. is next Wednesday with the specialist. If her spotting gets worse, they are supposed to call, but the doctor wants to give the HCG levels time to go up.

I have no idea what's going on here. Would they really make them wait this long? They have wonderful insurance. They both work for a medical insurance company. So, I'm confused.

I'll keep you all updated. You guys are the best.

Judy, I would think that they would want to see her ASAP....but then I'm just a mom. Will continue to pray.

Okay, I have a little more info now. (Didn't want to be too bossy and demanding. :rolleyes:) Apparently, the doctor they saw in the ER is the same specialist they have an appointment with next week, so she has seen them.

They did two different kinds of ultrasounds in the ER, but didn't see anything. So, she may not be as far along as they thought. I think they are giving it time. From what I've read today, that's what most doctors recommend doing in this situation. If anything changes, she has instructions about who and when to call.

I was just checking in for an update and now providing the new information, am hoping for the best possible outcome next week at their next appointment. Will say another prayer for them!

I've had my own issues with problems in pregnancies, and know that sometimes against all odds things do work out. I will keep you all in my prayers and hope that it will be all good news.

You,Your Son and DIL are in my Thoughts and Prayers @ this trying time. I had 5 pregnancies that I couldn't carry full term. The adoption and arrival of my 2 girls from South Korea were the greatest gifts that God gave to my Husband and I. Our Gr.Son Christopher was born healthy and beautiful in Feb. 2007...They're all my gifts from God.... Blessings and Hugs to you and your family....:thumbup::)

My friend went through the same thing just last week and they did blood work and they said for her to come back in and redo the blood work and the hgc is going up which shows a pregnancy...they said that before 6 weeks it is hard to see anything...and as for the spotting it was just old blood. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
