Please keep Jake in your thoughts and Prayers
 
Jake is Very sick and may have gotten into something. We had to rush him to the emergency Vet last night. They took X-rays and gave him fluids. He was worse this morning, still vomiting and weak, so the vet now has him for the day on an IV and we won't know the results of the bloodwork until later today. Tony and I are worried sick! How we hated to leave him there....

Poor Jake!! I hope he feels better soon and you find out what is wrong!

I am sorry that Jake is sick....i will say a prayer right now for him to be okay...i know how hard it is to leave them...especially when they are sick...i hope he will be okay..:)

Ooooo...I hate this for all of you. I have a prayer going up for Jake's speedy recovery & your peace of mind.

OH NO Linda!!!! I am soooo sorry to hear this :( so very sorry! Jake is such a sweet boy! I PRAY that he gets better quickly. if there is anything I can do... well you know how to reach me! Prayers to you and your family!

Thank you so much for praying for my Jakie. He is home with us now but is still not out of the woods as he must go back to the vets for the day tomorrow to be hooked up to IV fluids again. He has not eaten or had anything to drink on his own since Friday night. We are still so concerned for our little guy...

I am glad he is home for the night. I will keep him in my prayers. Hopefully he will start feeling better soon.

Christina, thank you, I know you know after meeting my little guy and seeing us together, (like glue) how much he means the world to me...

Is there any way to give us an update on how Jake is doing? Did they come up with a diagnosis? Just hope Jake is on the mend. ~Joanne~

First off, Yes, Thank God, Jake has recovered, and we are calling him our miracle baby! Thank you so much for your Prayers and thoughts, they were, I am positive what helped Jake overcome whatever it was he got into...(at this point, we believe, it was caused from possibly ingesting Frontline off of Willow?). ....and did update daily...almost to a fault...:p...Honestly, I thought people would get sick of hearing about Jake. I can't tell you how frightening it was to see him so ill....Tony (DH) and I were sure that we almost lost him.....but our little "Security Guard" is back and we can in fact begin introducing him to normal (kibble) this week. We have had him on boiled chicken & rice since his release from the vet last Wednesday. We can't believe how much weight he has lost...poor little guy....
Thank you so much again and again...I love this place and I don't know what I do without it!:ghug:
