So sorry about it:(, sending prayers of comfort:hands: |
Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers...we will be leaving at 3 in the morning heading to Texas. The memorial service starts at 4:30 at The Crossing Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas. |
Debbie, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. My thoughts and prayer are with you and your family during your time of sorrow. |
So sorry about your loss, prayers to all. |
I am so very sorry for the loss of you sister. May God comfort you. |
Thank you all...we are home again...time will begin to heal I am sure. I feel her with me all the time. The service was beautiful and she would have been happy with the way it was carried out. Most everything done was at her request anyway. Again, thanks for your support...it meant the world to me. |
Wow Debbie, that was a quick trip. I know you have to be exhausted. Please take care of yourself and you get some rest tomorrow. Hugs! |

No rest for the weary! It will be back to work as usual tomorrow! Ken gave me Thursday and Friday off to get it all back together again. It is really busy now with the storms so I will have to hit it wide open tomorrow. A couple from our CMA chapter went with us (we traveled in separate cars because we had to stop and get my brother Steve). About 21 members from the local Christian Motorcyclists Association showed up...I was so happy to see them support Sharon that way. Sharon did the ministry series and earned her colors last year but got sicker and never got to ride or go to any more of the rallies...but she loved the CMA and the ministry it represented. Here is Sharon...my beautiful sissy...RIP baby girl. I sure do miss you! |
That is so sweet that your friends came to the memorial service. And I love the picture...I can see the resemblance, especially in the eyes! |
My most deepest sincere condolences to Debbie and her family in this very difficult time. Cancer is such a devastating disease and leaves such heartache in its path. My husband just very recently lost his brother to cancer, it's a horrible thing to endure. Please let Debbie know she is in my thoughts and prayers. |

Thank you Tracy...her faith was so strong throughout the three years since she was diagnosed. After the initial surgery to remove the tumor in her colon she underwent radiation and chemo. Then a year later it had spread to her lungs...they did every chemo imaginable and it took it's toll but she was still willing to fight. She found out in January that she had tumors in her brain...but she never gave up. She married her high school sweetheart in December right before that! Now she walks the streets of gold but it is oh so lonely here without her sweet voice on the other end of the phone everyday...I miss that so much. |
Deb, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I couldn't help but tear up as I was reading about your sister. I lost one of my sisters to cancer 5 years ago. I really think it was much harder to loose her that my mom. I can now think of my Lori with a smile, I know she's with me everyday. God bless you and your family. Keep your sister in your heart.
